Around the world financial best practice is increasingly regulated and the new Financial Management Certificate developed in partnership with 'IAB qualifications for business' provides students with the knowledge needed to communicate effectively in a business and financial context. The Advanced Diploma will commence from June 2009. Students completing the programme will have the opportunity to progress to the final stage of a degree and will benefit from enhanced career prospects.

Course duration:
Certificate : 12 months
Diploma : 15 months
Advanced Diploma : 18 months

Mode of Study
Full time (20 hours per week).

Awards: Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diplomas are awarded by Association of Business Executives (ABE).

Entry Requirements:
Certificate:
No formal qualifications are required but applicants should demonstrate competence in English by the attainment of one of the following:
1) British Council - Intermediate Certificate in English/Upper Advanced Certificate in English
2) LCCI - English for Business (EFB) 1st or 2nd level .
3) Pitman/City and Guilds - English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)/English for Business and Communication.
4) IELTS minimum level 5.5 .

Diploma:
Applicants must have obtained one of the following:
1) ABE Certificate
2) Two "A" Level passes plus four GCSE passes at Grade A, B or C, two of which must be English and Maths.
3) Overseas qualifications which may be accepted by the Registrar as being equivalent to the above with IELTS minimum level 6.0.
4) We welcome applications from candidates without formal qualifications who have been in appropriate employment for at least two years. A reference letter from employer(s) must accompany such applications.

Advanced Diploma:
Applicants must have obtained one of the following:
1) ABE Diploma .
2) A UK Honors Degree or Overseas equivalent.
3) Other recognized qualifications of approved Overseas Institutes of Higher Education with IELTS minimum level 6.0.
