Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (QCF)
(Available to only Home and EU students)

We are now registering learners for QCF Diploma in Health and Social care Levels 2 and 3. This course is open to anyone wanting to gain a formal qualification in their career path within health and social care setting.

This qualification is to guide and assess the development of knowledge and skills relating to the health and social care workforce.

This qualification confirms competence in these areas for roles such as:

• Seniors and care assistants; support and key workers in residential settings, domiciliary services, day services
• Seniors and healthcare assistants; support workers in community care, primary care, and acute health environments
• Senior support workers in supported living projects
• Community-based senior and care assistants including those working in specialist areas e.g. dementia, learning disabiliti
• Personal assistants employed directly by an individual they support or their families
• Emerging new types of workers and multidisciplinary health roles crossing traditional service barriers and delivery models

 
 
Each level consists of nine mandatory units. These cover underpinning knowledge to meet the professional requirements of your role in health and social care. Optional units to complete the course will be discussed with you, when you have been allocated an experienced assessor to meet your working environment and to meet your client’s needs.

This is a work based part time course. We offer workshops in the evening and weekend mornings (subject to availability), enabling you to work during the day.

You will be required to attend workshops once a fortnight, and be allocated an assessor to support you throughout the course. Your assessor will support you through emails, phone and face to face sessions where he/she will also visit your workplace to complete observations of your working practice. For your assessment voice recorders are used to produce evidence so less written work to be completed.

Entry Requirement : You need to be working (paid or voluntary) in the health and social care industry. An initial assessment will be required to be completed, to fulfill the course requirements.
