• The students of Harrow International Business School had the opportunity to go on a study tour to 3 European destinations from 14th to 18th April. HIBS students had their very own double decker coach for the tour. We started on the 14th dawn, travelling through the fast paced motorways and lush greenlands enroute to the port of Dover where we crossed the English channel on an enormous P&O ferry into the port of Calais in France.
• The first stop was the Belgian chocolate factory in Belgium, then on was the Atomium, followed by the Grand – Place, the town square of the city of Brussels and the famed Manneken Pis. After a long day, we finally arrived at Amsterdam, where our accommodation was arranged at the NH Schiphol Airport hotel for the next 2 nights.
• Day 2 started with a trip to the magnificent Keukenhof tulip gardens and then to the cheese and clog factory where everyone sampled a variety of cheeses and saw a first-hand demonstration of making clogs. Then followed the Amsterdam boat cruise, through the numerous canals of this picturesque city.
• Day 3 began with a visit to Madurodam from where we started towards Paris on a long 5 hour journey. The first stop at Paris was the Eiffel Tower and from there, straight to our accommodations at The Novotel Massy Palaiseau.
